Kamala Harris calls Iran war 'bulls**t,' immediately starts cackling uncontrollably

Kamala Harris took aim at the U.S. war with Iran at a political event in Las Vegas on Thursday, using profanity to punctuate her point before breaking into a bout of uncontrollable laughter, and blaming the use of the obscenity on the audience.

The former vice president and failed presidential candidate made the remarks at what was billed as a fireside chat, but mostly was a Trump-bashing struggle session that also included significant complaining about incumbent Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo.

When Harris was asked about rising gas prices and the war with Iran, she launched into a lengthy response in which she recounted having "met with over 150 world leaders, presidents, prime ministers, chancellors, and kings," familiar boilerplate material from her 2024 campaign.

Eventually she got around to addressing the war in Iran. "This war in Iran, which the American people do not want this war, which was not authorized by Congress, but even if it was, it should not have been initiated. He talked about obliterating -- it's all just bulls**t!" Harris exclaimed, and then immediately began her signature cackle as the crowd erupted in applause.

"You made me do that," Harris yelled seconds later, continuing to laugh. "I promised I'm not going to curse in public anymore," she said, laughing uncontrollably for a few more seconds. Harris didn't cite any evidence to support her claim that "the American people do not want" the war.

A poll released earlier this week showed an overwhelming majority of Americans, including 60% of Democrats surveyed, believe the U.S. is winning the war with Iran.

As Harris' demeanor sobered up, she returned to criticizing President Trump. "I’m not gonna dismiss him as being an idiot. He’s dangerous, he's dangerous," Harris told the audience, criticizing Trump's attempts to annex Greenland." Although polls show Harris as a potential serious contender for the White House in 2028, she did not address whether she's planning to run for president again at the Vegas event.

Last week at a speaking event in Los Angeles, Harris' remarks apparently put someone to sleep, cellphone video showed.
