During a recent debate held by Jubilee Media and published over the weekend, a woman named Marien confronted U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna of California about Democrat immigration policies, telling him she feels Democrats open border policies make her feel less safe.

The dramatic confrontation came during an episode of Surrounded, a web series produced by Jubilee Media, in which a prominent figure is asked to debate topics with up to two dozen people on the opposing side of an issue. They sit in a circle around the prominent figure who's in the hot seat, hence the name Surrounded

During the episode released Sunday, a woman named Marien Richardson, who described herself as a Trump supporter confronted Khanna about the impact of Democrats' open border policy during the Biden administration as well as states lax enforcement stronger immigration policies ushered in by Trump.

"My frustration is as a regular everyday American citizen [is] I feel that I am more likely to be harmed by Democratic policies such as open borders because in your state something like 4,600 or so illegal migrants that had criminal records were re-released from jail," Richardson said. "So when we're talking about harming Americans, when we're talking about children potentially being harmed, when we're looking into child trafficking, we have to acknowledge that illegal migration is the biggest funnel for child trafficking."

"I'm for secure borders," Khanna replied.

"No one in California can say that they're for a secure border," Richardson shot back.

Khanna then went on to criticize the ICE enforcements in Minnesota and said the Trump administration should shift its focus to stopping gang members and terrorists from crossing the Southern Border. Khanna apparently was not aware of the latest figures released by the Department of Homeland Security showing that ICE has not allowed one illegal immigrant to enter the U.S. for the last 11 consecutive months.

Richardson was hardly amused with Khanna's wishy-washy response and told the congressman so in no uncertain terms. Watch a highlight of the exchange below and see the full exchange between Khanna and Richardson here
