University chancellor makes jaws drop with remark sayin 'vast majority of pregnancies are in women'

The chancellor of the University of California San Francisco testified on Capitol Hill Tuesday and said "the vast majority of pregnancies are in women," revealing that woke ideology is still alive and well in many college campuses across the country, despite a cultural revolt against it and President Trump's efforts to root it out of U.S. institutions.

The comments were made by Dr. Sam Hawgood, a highly-decorated researcher and the chancellor of one of the top medical schools in the U.S., and came in response to a line of questioning from U.S. Representative Mary Miller of Illinois. At one point during the hearing, Miller questioned Hawgood about why his school's classroom guide on teaching "advises against using the term 'pregnant women,'" and instead suggests use of the term "pregnant people."

"Who are pregnant people compared to pregnant women?" Miller inquired.

"That is a part of a curriculum to help our students who are facing a wide diversity of patients," Hawgood began. "Of course, the vast majority of pregnancies are in women, and I have absolutely no problem with using the word pregnant women. I use it myself," Hawgood admitted.

"Has a non-biological woman ever had a baby?" Miller then asked.

"A transgender person can," Hawgood replied, as several people seated behind him robotically nodded in agreement.

Miller then pressed Hawgood on her question and he stammered saying the school takes care of transgender patients. "It's ridiculous," an exasperated Miller responded. 

"It should concern every American that one of the nation's leading medical schools asserts that biological men can get pregnant," Miller said later in a post on X.

Dave Rubin reacted during Wednesday's episode of The Rubin Report to Hawgood's remarks and other testimony made during the hearing, which seemed like something found in a time capsule from 2020 or 2021. "Only women can give birth," Dave said, laughing that Hawgood should be awarded a Nobel Prize for stating something so obvious.
