Report exposes 'Islamization' of Girl Scouts troops across the U.S.

Hijab photo booths. Ramadan tea parties. Hajj patches. Shahada lessons. Modesty lessons. The Five Pillars of Islam. You'd be forgiven if you thought all of the above were staples of summer camp in the Middle East. In fact, it's what has been taking place with Girl Scout troops all across America, according to an explosive new report by the White House correspondent for The Post Millennial.
The investigative report by Natalie Winters found that the implementation of a Islamic programming has been adopted by individual Girl Scout troops across America, enacted by local Girl Scout councils at the direction of the National Islamic Committee on Girl Scouting (NICGS). According to Winters, the movement is not part of a larger push being imposed by the national The Girl Scouts of the USA.
But the “Girl Scouts of the Islamic Faith” is coloring what young participants are being exposed to like never before from Long Island, New York, to Naperville, Illinois, to Sacramento, California, and other places in between. Winters went into deeper detail in a recent edition of her newsletter, reporting that a "standout attraction" at a February 2025 Girl Scouts event held at a mosque in Sacramento was a hijab photo both. Girl Scouts there were invited to try on hijabs to learn about "the significance of modesty," Winters reported. An "informative booth about Palestine" was also featured at that event.
Winters also obtained images showing Islamic-themed awards and patches that have been handed out in recent years at various troops around the country and posted them on X, and that are available for purchase on the website for the NICGS. Photos she posted included the "Bismillah Award" and "In the Name of Allah Award," among others, as well as a patch that reads, "Share Ramadan with a Friend."
Winters reported that the NICGS says the awards emphasize the “Theory and Practice of Islam” — including Quranic surahs and prayer meanings, and that it is the entity pushing these individual troops to adopt Islamic values in the programming the young girls are being exposed to. Read the full report in her newsletter here, and see examples of some of the awards in the social media post below.
