Iran's state TV broadcasts chilling video threatening to kill Barron Trump

A state-run TV channel in Iran broadcast a disturbing video over the weekend claiming first son Barron Trump is being "fully monitored" by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) along with reports declaring that a $10 million bounty has been placed on his head.

The video, titled "Where to kill Barron Trump" is the third video released by Iran in recent months that has threatened a family member of President Trump. Last month, the IRGC put out a similar video threatening first lady Melania Trump, and in May released a video threatening the life of Trump's oldest daughter, Ivanka.

The nearly three-minute video claims to have uncovered a host of information on 20-year-old Barron, the youngest of the president's five children, including the location of the college he attends, the logistical workings of his Secret Service detail and how he privately communicates online and out of the view of the Secret Service agents who are assigned to protect him. The footage was posted on X by the Israel War Room account. Iran has also released numerous videos threatening to assassinate Trump. 

In another wild and unverified claim, the video says "a girl" managed to circumvent Secret Service agents and was able to hold a private meeting with Barron, according to a translation by Euronews. “This is just the beginning! Barron Trump, wait for us!” Iran taunted at the end of the video. According to Newsmax, the Secret Service said it was investigating the footage.

Iran has eyed a Trump assassination since his first term after the president ordered a military strike in January 2020 that killed Qassem Soleimani, a top general who commanded Iran's Quds Forces. Earlier this month, the Secret Service considered an Iranian assassination plot against Trump credible enough that agents snuck the president off of Air Force One moments before it departed Ankara, Turkey, following the NATO summit that was held there. Unbeknownst to everyone but a few close aides who accompanied the president, Trump flew out of Turkey on a separate military aircraft. 

The video's release comes as the war with Iran nears the six-month mark and the Trump administration began rolling out new sanctions on Monday, which the president has described as an "economic D-Day" against Iran's already faltering economy. "IRAN IS COMPLETELY COLLAPSING!!!" Trump said Monday in a post on Truth Social.
