Investigation finds California giving free sex-change procedures, hormone drugs to homeless illegal immigrants

An explosive investigation triggered by a tip from an anonymous whistleblower has discovered that state and local governments in California are providing illegal immigrants, most of them homeless, with free gender-transitioning treatments with the cost being picked up by taxpayers.

According to a report by City Journal, homeless shelters throughout San Francisco, including the city's largest, are packed with illegal immigrants who specifically come to California to take advantage of Gov. Gavin Newsom's so-called "full scope" health coverage for illegals, which also allows for "gender affirming care."

The report by City Journal found illegal immigrants from various countries, including El Salvador and Venezuela, who are homeless in the U.S., and receiving taxpayer-funded food, shelter and even hormone therapy for transgenderism. 

In many cases, the transgender treatments are cloaked in euphemistic terms so as to not arouse suspicion, but in some cases shelters openly promote that they are focused on treating "transgender" issues.

Reporters from the City Journal spoke on camera with several illegal immigrants who discussed not only receiving hormone therapies to transition genders from male to female, but also were even given free plastic surgery. One transgender male who identifies as female and goes by the name "Jacqueline" told the City Journal he received free breast implants, paid for by the state of California. 

"Jacqueline" said he has yet to undergo genital surgery to complete the transition, but is waiting to do so. In the meantime, when asked whether he's happy with the results so far, Jacqueline smiled and said, "Yes."

The revelations are reminiscent of Trump's effective 2024 campaign ad in which he declared Kamala Harris was "for they/them" after showing a clip of her saying illegal immigrants who are in prison in the U.S. should be given taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries if they want.
