U.S. Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania made the rounds on cable news Wednesday and, in response to various questions, praised the results so far in the 12 days of the war with Iran.

In an interview with CBS News, Fetterman said, "I do think it's very effective. And then I do think it's moving towards the kinds of appropriate outcome" the U.S. is pursuing.

During an appearance on CNN, Kaitlin Collins pressed Fetterman on why he was the lone Senate Democrat who declined to sign a letter sent to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth calling for an investigation into claims that a U.S. missile struck a girls school, killing 175 people, Fetterman responded, "We all agree it’s a tragedy having the school hit and we all agree it should be investigated."

But, the senator added, the Pentagon is already investigating the incident and said he doesn't agree that Operation Epic Fury is a "war of choice." He also drew a contrast between how the U.S. and Iran approach combat. "The U.S. doesn’t target civilians. Whereas the regime massacred 35,000 Iranians and it barely got any attention.”

In another appearance on NewsNation, Fetterman told Elizabeth Vargas that the U.S. should kill "every last member" of Iran's leadership. When asked about the fact that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, was installed as Iran's new supreme leader, Fetterman responded," They should kill him too."

While Fetterman has sided with Republicans on a host of issues lately, he told CBS News in an interview that he's not currently on board with voting for the SAVE Act. "I don't support, in its current state," Fetterman said, adding that he disagrees with President Trump's criticism of mail-in voting.

Below, watch some clips from Fetterman's cable news appearances.
