Embattled congresswoman denies her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, as federal investigators believe

As evidence that's been made public in the investigation of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar continues to mount, she is pushing back with varying degrees of persuasiveness.
After an affadivitt surfaced showing her investigators believe Omar's actual name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, U.S Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro appeared on Fox News to confirm that investigators are in possession of evidence showing that is the congresswoman's real name and "Ilham Omar" is an alias.
"Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi," Pirro told Jesse Watters on Thursday evening. "Her sister is Sahra Nur Said Elmi."
The congresswoman's office issued a blunt statement denying the allegation that she's been using an alias. "This is completely false," a spokesperson said. "Ilhan Omar is her real name."
The revelations about the discrepancy surrounding her name follows Omar's awkward interview earlier this week on MS NOW in which she was asked if her first husband was also her brother. "Not to my knowledge," was the embattled congresswoman's response, which only fueled more suspicion surrounding her past.
At a rally Thursday in Iowa, President Trump called the answer "the worst," and called on her to resign or be forced out of office for using a "fake name."
Below, watch a clip of Pirro discussing the name discrepancy.
