Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is on his way out at ABC, according to a report from Page Six, at the end of the of next May when his contract expires, however a spokesperson for ABC disputed the report.

"This information is inaccurate – any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative," a spokesperson for ABC Entertainment said late Tuesday after the bombshell report was published. The new season is set to begin next Tuesday and, if the report turns out to be accurate, Kimmel's tenure at ABC would end ater 24 years.

“His contract is not getting extended,” an anonymous source told Page Six

Kimmel has been one of the most anti-Trump and anti-conservative voices in mainstream media for years. Earlier this year, he faced criticism from the White House and calls for his firing after he referred to first lady Melania Trump as an "expectant widow." Two days later, a crazed gunman attempted to rush the ballroom where the White House Correspondents' Dinner was about to be held in an attempt to assassinate President Trump and his cabinet members.

Last September, ABC briefly suspended Kimmel over hateful comments he made about Trump supporters in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Both examples continued a long line of material from Kimmel that targets conservatives and sometimes celebrates violence against them.

Kimmel in 2025 praised violent attacks on Tesla dealerships as extremist leftists protested DOGE. Kimmel infamously "joked" during the pandemic that unvaccinated Americans should be allowed to die in hospitals because they resisted getting a shot that was unproven and not thoroughly tested. Stephen Colbert, a similarly TDS-afflicted late-night host, went off the air in May after CBS finally pulled the plug on him.
